Job summary

University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Full-Time Day Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 3 South Telemetry Unit, providing continuous cardiac monitoring and med-surg support to a high-performing team.

You will perform patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care while educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland or Compact eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of two years acute care RN experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry.
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and appropriate intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring.
• Assess patients and develop care plans with the team.
• Administer medications and monitor changes in condition.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
