Job summary

HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on bedside nursing care, coordinate patient care with the health care team, and support a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced setting.

Full-time, 36 hours per week, day shifts with a weekend option. Requires an accredited nursing degree and RN licensure in the state; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing (required for licensure).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside acute patient care on the Medical/Surgical unit.
• Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Assist with patient assessment, monitoring and care planning.
• Uphold patient-centered care, safety protocols and quality outcomes.

Education
