Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team in Highland, IL. The role is full-time at 36 hours per week with days and a weekend option on the Medical/Surgical unit at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven professionals with a commitment to bedside care. RN licensure in the state of practice and BLS are required; a BSN is preferred and experience in healthcare is a plus.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience in healthcare is preferred.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside on the Medical/Surgical unit.
Support patient-focused, mission-driven care delivery.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure safety and outcomes.
