Job summary

NALHE is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care under supervision, applying clinical judgment to diagnose and respond to health problems. You will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care for patients across units.

Responsibilities include accurate multi-system assessments, developing individualized care plans, coordinating discharge planning, documenting in EMR, and collaborating with physicians and other health care team members to ensure quality

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Performs accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, education needs and discharge planning needs.
• Planning: Develops an individual nursing plan of care and coordinates patient care activities and discharge planning.
• Implementation: Initiates appropriate measures based on protocol and accurately documents in the EMR.
• Evaluation: Evaluates assessment methods, plan of care, and patient responses to treatment.
