Job summary

TalentBurst is assisting Exeter Hospital in staffing a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The contract involves night shifts (12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) for 13 weeks on site in Exeter, NH.

The RN will provide care on a 4N unit, with typical general inpatient duties and an emphasis on ortho/oncology patients. Requirements include NH or compact RN license, BLS certification, and prior travel or epic experience.

Qualifications

• NH or compact nursing license required.
• BLS–AHA certification required.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Ortho and oncology care experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical-surgical care on night shifts.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Support orthopedic and oncology unit with admitted patients.

Facility: Exeter Hospital

Position Description: Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments - these guaranteed hours do not include any "on-call" time worked

Comments And Notes: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. 12H Nights, 7p-7:30a. Must have NH or compact license, BLS-AHA, prior travel and epic experience. 4N is a 15 bed medical/surgical unit. The unit primarily provides general inpatient care for adult M/S patients with specialized focus and staff dedicated to orthopedic and oncology care. Ortho experience required. Average patient stay is 3-4 days. Patient ratios are typically 5-6:1. Orientation is biweekly. Scrubs are any color. Must be separated from BILH for 6 months to be considered.
