TalentBurst is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical Telemetry in Boston, MA. Position Description: Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments - these guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked

MAJOR WINTER HOLIDAY REQUIREMENT - 12H rotating days/nights and every other weekend
Every 4 week period will have one week consisting of one 12hr shift and three 8 hours shifts in a 4-week schedule. May rotate within the same week, but they try not to do this. If they do, they will give a few days between the rotation from days or eves to nights. Every other weekend and holidays required* No call required
MA LICENSE REQUIRED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION - FLOAT POOL POSITION (15 medical surgical units - 600 bed facility)
Who manages ventilators: RT, RN responsible for administering nebulizers
Unit specific procedures: 12 lead EKGs, lasix gtt, blood transfusions, telemetry monitoring
Additional Unit Specific Information: Travel RNs are assigned to the medical surgical float pool
Supporting 15 medical surgical units, specializing in neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery gyn, gu, hips and joints, oncology, transplant liver and kidneys and or vascular
Our inpatient patient ratios average from 4:1 ratio on days to 6:1 on nights. Travel RNs are assigned to a unit either in a 2-3 week period and some weeks can receive assignment 2 hours before shift
We are unable to provide a set schedule, but honor RTO. The shifts are a combination of 8 and 12 hours shifts , rotating days and nights or day evenings every other weekend
License Registered Nurse required , 3+ years related work experience required
Prior Travel required**CPR-AHA, ACLS-AHA
Basic familiarity with computers
Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications
Epic experience required
Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred. Level I trauma experience required
Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday)
Any color scrubs
Parking can cost up to ***/day if working days
Public transportation is available
Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months to be considered
