Job summary

BSA Health System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a day-shift, part-time Medical-Surgical 4C Patient Care Technician (PCT). You will work under nursing supervision providing basic patient care.

Qualifications

• High school education required or equivalent.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Works in an entry-level position providing basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assists patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observed patients’ progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered nurses.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
