Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis invites nursing students in their final RN/LPN semester to join the Earn As You Learn program. You will complete your senior practicum in Mercy's Medical-Surgical Service Line while earning a $2,000 stipend upon successful completion.

Collaborate with experienced Mercy nurses, gain hands-on clinical experience across multiple specialties, and build relationships with nurse leaders before graduation, creating a direct pathway into a Graduate Nurse role after you graduate.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in the final semester of an accredited RN or LPN nursing program (December 2026 Grad).
• Complete your senior practicum within Mercy Hospital St. Louis Medical-Surgical Service Line.
• Accept a bedside nursing position with Mercy upon graduation.
• Commit to a minimum six-month employment agreement following graduation.

Responsibilities

• Complete senior practicum within the Medical-Surgical Service Line and provide patient care under supervision.
• Gain hands-on experience in diverse Medical-Surgical cases and collaborate with Mercy nurses.
• Develop assessment, clinical judgment, and time-management skills while adhering to Mercy standards.
