City College of San Francisco is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Nursing-Registered Instructor for Medical-Surgical Nursing. The position emphasizes theory, simulation, and clinical instruction with curriculum planning and student assessment.

The role requires BRN eligibility, a Master’s in Nursing (or equivalent), and teaching experience. Salary ranges from $61,200 to $93,240 annually for 175 days of service, with typical benefits including health plans and life insurance.

Competenze

Demonstrated ability to organize, plan curriculum and supervise theory, simulation, skills lab and clinical experience.
Ability to liaison with schools/organizations for curriculum.
Experience supervising and evaluating nursing students in simulated/clinical settings.
Experience teaching courses related to registered nursing and/or equivalency in teaching nursing.

Mansioni

Instruct theory, simulation and clinical components of Medical-Surgical Nursing.
Meet weekly with lead instructor to discuss course progress and student performance.
Document and discuss student clinical performance and provide feedback.
Adhere to BRN regulations and college policies; participate in committees.
