Job summary

Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor or Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor in Medical-Surgical Nursing. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty role teaching in the Undergraduate Prelicensure Program, with possible Graduate Program teaching as needed.

The successful candidate will have a Master’s in Nursing, current RN licensure, and a commitment to teaching, service, and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in nursing at the time employment begins.
Must have current clinical skills.
Candidates must hold an unencumbered Alabama RN license or Multistate RN License.
Doctorate degree or doctorate conferred by date of hire (preferred).
Teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program and certified in a clinical specialty (preferred).

Responsibilities

Teach in the Undergraduate Prelicensure Program; may teach in the Graduate Program as needed.
This is a full-time, 12-month Medical-Surgical Nursing faculty position.
Engage in scholarship and research as part of faculty duties.
Provide instruction, academic support, and guidance to prelicensure nursing students.
Collaborate with clinical partners and staff to support learning outcomes.
