Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor or Assistant Clinical/Associate Clinical Professor position in the School of Nursing. The role supports the Family Nurse Practitioner track in the Graduate Nursing Program.

The successful candidate will teach, conduct research, and participate in service; teaching may be face-to-face or online, and may extend to undergraduate courses as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing with an FNP specialty focus and national certification as an FNP.
• Must have current clinical skills.
• Unencumbered Multistate License or Alabama RN license.
• Current certification in the role and population focus.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track within the Graduate Nursing Program; full-time, 12-month faculty position.
• Teaching may be face-to-face and/or online depending on course requirements.
• Engage in teaching, research, and service; may teach in Undergraduate Program as needed.
