Atrium Health Navicent Nursing Assistant positions offer full-time 36-hour weeks in a day shift environment. Under RN supervision, you will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help with mobility and transport within the hospital.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and prefers CNA certification or patient care experience. The department focuses on compassionate, safe patient care in a busy medical/surgical unit.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification or patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing patient care under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Supports patient with activities of daily living.
• Measures vital signs, height and weight.
• Performs glucose monitoring via fingerstick.
• Transports patients using wheelchair, stretcher, or bed as needed.
• Places electrodes for cardiac, respiratory and fetal monitoring.
• Performs post-mortem care and keeps the room clean and orderly.
