Job summary

GENNTE Technologies in Portland, Oregon, is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for a 13-week contract at a 302-bed acute care medical center. The RN will provide coordinated nursing care to medical-surgical patients and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.

Shifts include Day: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, Night: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours).

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification from an approved provider.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• Ability to provide safe, coordinated nursing care in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect relevant clinical information.
• Coordinate care with physicians, patients, families and interprofessional teams.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Promote patient safety and maintain a healing care environment.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

The RN will provide coordinated nursing care to medical-surgical patients, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.

Available shift:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours).
• Multiple openings may be available across shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect relevant clinical information.
• Analyze assessment findings and identify patient care needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Promote patient safety and maintain a healing, supportive care environment.
• Educate patients and family members about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate the activities of healthcare team members.
• Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification from an approved provider.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• Ability to provide safe, coordinated nursing care in an acute care setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Previous acute care facility experience.
• Holiday time-off requests (RTO) will not be approved.
• Candidates must be available to work the assigned schedule, including applicable holidays.
