Job summary

University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide basic patient care under licensed nurses. You will take vital signs, assist with meals, hygiene, positioning, catheter care, specimen collection, and treatments, while maintaining compassionate, culturally sensitive care.

Under supervision of a licensed nurse, you will document care, participate in quality improvement, and help ensure a supportive unit environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification.
• 1 year recent experience in medical/surgical in an acute care hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with meals.
• Perform basic patient care tasks per hospital policy.
• Assist with hygiene, positioning, catheter care, and specimen collection.
• Support nursing staff and respond to call lights promptly.
• Document data collection and care activities per standards.
