Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience or completion of a formal Nursing Assistant course.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nurses and report to Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager.
• Promote infection control, safety, and standards.
• Promote teamwork and maintain positive working relationships.
• Organize and prioritize care based on patient needs and unit activities.
• Provide basic patient care including vitals, meals, hygiene, movement, specimen collection.
• Respect cultural needs, rights, and privacy.
• Monitor patient status and seek nursing supervision when needed.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Participate in Performance Improvement through education and quality activities.
• Assist licensed nurse with data collection and documentation to hospital standards.
