Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, GA, is seeking a Medical Support Assistant (Scheduler/Office Automation). This position is located in Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The position is located on the 1st floor of the hospital within a co-located office alongside two other MSA schedulers. Subject to work in individual clinic sites based on mission requirements and the needs of supported clinics. Full-time 8-hour shifts per day. Workweek: Monday - Friday. Core Hours: Operational windows range flexibly between 0730 and 1600.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1.) Use automated scheduling systems to make and update patient appointments following established guidelines; 2.) Assist medical staff and supervisors by coordinating and confirming patient scheduling needs; 3.) Prepare routine memorandums, reports, and correspondence for medical personnel, staff, or management using standard formats. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
