Job summary

Penn Medicine, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, is seeking a Distribution Attendant to manage the distribution of medical supplies and equipment across the hospital campus. Duties include stocking storerooms, placing orders from vendors, and ensuring accurate inventory and charging records.

Responsibilities cover timely delivery of supplies, restocking of storerooms and storeroom organization, and support for IV solutions and oxygen cylinder handling. HS diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to requests for supplies/equipment in a timely manner.
• Notify appropriate management if unable to deliver supply or service.
• Restocks assigned area with supplies accurately and timely.
• Restocks storeroom in an organized and accurate manner.
• Records product information (quantity and item # for accurate charging to using department).
• Delivers medical products and equipment to correct locations.
• Prints pick tickets and complete charging process in the Lawson system.
• Deliver and retrieve oxygen cylinders.
• Accurately retocks omnicell machines.
• Restocks code carts.
• Deliver specimens.
• Insuring IV fluids are secure and locked.
