Job summary

Western Hills Retirement is seeking a reliable Medical Supply Clerk to support daily operations by maintaining accurate inventory, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring supplies are available for residents and staff.

This full-time position offers competitive pay from $15 to $26 per hour, a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, PTO, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement. CNA with long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA with long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic understanding of inventory or supply management preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of all medical supplies to support smooth facility operations
• Coordinate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and invoicing
• Communicate with nursing staff to ensure supply availability and needs are met
• Prepare rooms for new admissions by ensuring all required supplies are in place prior to arrival
• Review invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Ensure all supply storage areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Assist with new staff orientation and ongoing training related to supply tracking systems
• Attend required in-service programs, workshops, and meetings
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including universal precautions
• Perform other duties as assigned
