Job summary

University of Utah Health is seeking a Storeroom/Inventory Clerk to manage ordering, receiving, inspecting, storing and shipping of equipment and supplies across departments. You will use the department system to verify transactions and maintain stock records.

This role supports cost control and vendor coordination, ensures stock accuracy, handles recalls and packaging, and maintains a clean storeroom. Six months of shipping/receiving experience preferred; Utah driver license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Orders, receives and oversees material, equipment, stock and supplies for the organization.
• Uses the department's computer system to maintain verification of all transactions.
• Maintains a record of stock received and issued to departments.
• Inspects and verifies that received stock meets specifications and that orders are complete.
• Resolves order problems with vendors and departments as necessary.
• Stores articles by style, size, material, etc., according to procedures.
• Rotates supplies to prevent expiration and ensures timely delivery.
