Job summary

El Centro Regional Medical Center seeks a Medical Staff Services Director to lead the Medical Staff Services Department and Professional Staff Library, ensuring compliance with licensing, regulating and accrediting authorities.

The role includes supervising Medical Staff Services staff, promoting the hospital’s services to physicians, and acting as a consultative advisor to the Chief of Staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related health or management field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Medical Staff office, with at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
• Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification preferred.

Job description

The Medical Staff Services Director is responsible for the overall organization, coordination and administration of the Medical Staff Services Department and Professional Staff Library, for supervising Medical Staff Services Staff, and for maintaining Medical Staff Services operations in compliance with licensing, regulating and accrediting authorities. Will act as the consultative advisor to the Chief of Staff.

The incumbent is responsible for the promotion of the Hospital’s services and programs to physicians and serves as the physician liaison with the Hospital.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related health or management field preferred; and
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Medical Staff office, with at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity; and
• Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)

Position Pay Range: $97,260.80 - $141,024.00/year
