Job summary

El Centro Regional Medical Center seeks a Medical Staff Services Director to lead the Medical Staff Services Department and Professional Staff Library, ensuring compliance with licensing, regulating and accrediting authorities.

The role includes supervising Medical Staff Services staff, promoting the hospital’s services to physicians, and acting as a consultative advisor to the Chief of Staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related health or management field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Medical Staff office, with at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
• Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Medical Staff Services Department and Professional Staff Library.
• Supervise Medical Staff Services staff and ensure compliance with licensing, regulating and accrediting authorities.
• Promote the Hospital’s services and programs to physicians and act as the physician liaison with the Hospital.
