DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a part-time Med Staff Services professional to organize and oversee credentialing for Medical Staff and allied professionals. You will prepare committee materials, maintain records, and coordinate elections, while ensuring policy compliance and smooth operations with hospital departments.

Under general supervision, you will support office staff, communicate sensitive information, and drive initiatives aligned with Medical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of related experience, preferably in a large hospital environment.
• CMSC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and oversees credentialing for Medical Staff and allied health professionals, including new staff applications and privileges, annual reappointments, and updated privileges.
• Prepares agendas and maintains minutes for Medical Staff Committees and ensures follow-through on actions.
• Plans and implements long- and short-term goals for Medical Staff per committee approvals.
• Acts as liaison between Chief of Staff and Medical Staff across hospital departments.
• Coordinates annual Medical Staff elections and supports supervision of office staff.
