Qualifications

• 1 year in a medical staff services or credentialing role.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• CPCS or CPMSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical staff services for MercyOne hospitals and affiliates.
• Ensure credentialing and privileging compliance with bylaws and regs.
• Maintain credentialing database with current provider information.
• Collect privileging documentation for requested privileges.
• Facilitate required education for privileges, e.g., sedation testing.
• Prepare files and route to clinical leaders for review and approval.
• Provide administrative support to medical staff leadership and committees.
• Maintain confidentiality of credentialing files and minutes.
• Assist in accreditation and licensing surveys related to medical staff.
