Tower Health is seeking a Medical Staff Coordinator to oversee credentialing, re-credentialing, and primary source verification for clinicians across the system. The role collaborates with the Medical Staff Specialist to streamline initial applications and reappointment processes, while keeping the credentialing database accurate and current.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; relevant experience may substitute.
• Medical Staff Credentialing background helpful; healthcare experience preferred.

Job Summary

The Medical Staff Coordinator:

• Manages all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing application and primary source verification process for all clinicians (MD, DO, Advanced Practice Professionals) to meet standards and requirements of Tower Health, National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), federal and state, and other regulatory or accreditation bodies.
• Works closely with Medical Staff Specialist to manage intake process for all applicants during initial applications and reappointment process.
• Manages the database to ensure that it is updated in real time, data is current, accurate and valid.
