Job summary

Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is a Southeast Louisiana acute care hospital seeking a Medical Sonographer to perform specialized ultrasound procedures within Radiology. Eligible for ARDMS or CCI registration as RCS/RCIS/RVS.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration to practice as a sonographer.
• Experience performing B-mode and Doppler ultrasound procedures.
• Ability to calibrate and operate ultrasound equipment and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Perform B-mode and real-time scanning of abdomen, GYN, retroperitoneal, breast, thyroid, renal, vascular, doppler, and obstetrical exams.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and manage computer-based storage systems.
• Calibrate ultrasound equipment as required.
• Set up and assist in surgical and biopsy procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure records daily.
