Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a Human Services related field is required.
• PSD. is also acceptable.
• LSW or LCSW preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients to gather data for bio-psychosocial assessment.
• Facilitates discharge planning and coordination with community resources.
• Provides brief, supportive psychotherapy to patient and family when appropriate.
• Acts as patient advocate and coordinates with interdisciplinary treatment team.
