Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assess client history and background; evaluate strengths and weaknesses; develop treatment plans in coordination with client and health professionals.
• Provide counseling, crisis management, and therapy to clients with mental, behavioral, and emotional issues.
• Coordinate with physician and other health care professionals to implement treatment plans.
• Evaluate home environment and provide placement assistance and community resources as needed.

Job description

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) along with helping people solve and cope with problems in their daily lives, also assist people with mental, behavioral, and emotional issues. A LCSW will assess a clients history, background, evaluate strengths and weaknesses, and develop a treatment plan by coordinating with the client, physician, and other health care professionals.

A LCSW can also assist in the following area:

• Counseling and Crisis Management
• Provide Community Resources
• Placement Assistance
• Evaluate the Home Environment
• Provide Therapy
