VALLEY HEALTH PRIMARY CARE in Bakersfield, CA, seeks a Medical Scribe to gather and document information for doctors’ visits, print lab reports, complete summaries of treatment sessions, chart appointments, and operate electronic health records.

This full-time position requires accurate note-taking, confidentiality, and the ability to work well under pressure. Strong typing (70 WPM) and computer skills are essential to support clinicians and ensure efficient patient records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Scribe or similar.
• Ability to take detailed notes and accurate documentation.
• Strong computer and transcription skills.
• Minimum 70 WPM.
• Able to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.
• Highly organized with excellent time-management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
