Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking on-site medical scribes to document patient visits in real time, recording history, exams and treatments. You will work with doctors, use EHR systems, and help keep patient records secure and up to date.

No experience required—training is provided through Scribe University with mentorship and hands-on clinical instruction. Full-time and part-time roles are available, with opportunities for growth and tuition discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (18+).
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-up.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
