Job summary

OrthoVirginia is recruiting for roles that support documentation and clinic operations across Virginia. You will document patient encounters in real time, capture histories, medications, and treatment plans, and help coordinate orders and referrals to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Ideal candidates hold a healthcare-related degree or are currently enrolled, have EMR experience (Epic preferred), and demonstrate strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in healthcare, science, or related field.
• Interest in pursuing a healthcare-related career; coursework in biology, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, health sciences, or related disciplines.
• Experience with EMR systems; Epic EMR preferred. Typing proficiency of 60+ wpm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient encounters within the EMR in real time.
• Record patient histories, medications, allergies, review of systems, exam findings, assessments, and plans.
• Enter orders, referrals, imaging requests, therapies, and other services.
• Coordinate with providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams to support clinic workflow.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
