Job summary

Methodist Medical Group is seeking a Scribe to assist providers with dictations and improve clinic flow in a fast-paced practice in North Texas. The role supports the provider during visits, enters data into the EHR, and helps coordinate patient care with staff.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3–6 months of related experience, and a preferred Medical Assistant certificate. Strong typing (45 WPM) and basic MS Outlook/Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months related experience.
• Medical Assistant certificate preferred.
• Typing 45 WPM and basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook/Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and relay information to internal staff.
• Assist the provider with documenting patient care and dictations in the EHR.
• Enter information into the EHR as directed by the provider.
• Assist physicians/PA with clinical documentation and coding in the EHR.
• Participate in office meetings and ensure HIPAA compliance.
