Job summary

USA Clinics Group in New York is seeking a Medical Scribe to support a busy outpatient practice. You will transcribe and document patient histories and exams, ensuring accurate EMR entries to improve clinical efficiency and patient experience.

Fluency in English is assumed, with Spanish or Russian language skills preferred for diverse patient populations. The role requires commuting to Staten Island and Brooklyn, full-time schedule, and compensation of $20–$22 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months experience as a Medical Scribe or relevant training.
• Spanish or Russian speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician by transcribing/translating history and physical exams.
• Document diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions.
• Transcribe patient orders including labs and radiology tests.
• Document procedures performed by the physician.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Adhere to employer work practices and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Scribe, you would help create a more efficient office by capturing all patient clinical information and accurately document it in the electronic medical record. By efficiently and effectively doing so, you will help improve clinical outcomes and reduce patient wait times. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

• Location: Must be able to commute to Staten Island and Brooklyn.
• Language: Spanish or Russian preferred.
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Saturday, between 7am and 7pm.
• Compensation: $20-$22/hr

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the smooth operation of a Healthcare practice and accompany the physician into the patient examination room in order to transcribe/translate a history and physical exam, and accurately document the physician’s encounter with the patient and others present
• List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician
• Transcribe patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.
• Document any procedures performed by the physician
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
• Adhere to employer work practices
• Perform other duties as assigned
