Job summary

USA Clinics Group in Miami is seeking a part-time Medical Scribe to capture patient clinical information and document it in the EMR, helping improve outcomes and reduce wait times.

You will transcribe encounters, translate histories, and ensure an excellent service experience. The role requires 1+ year scribing experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and the ability to work Monday to Wednesday in Miami-Kendall clinics.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Scribe.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth operation of a healthcare practice and accompany the physician into the patient examination room to transcribe/translate a history and physical, documenting the encounter.
• List all diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.
• Transcribe patient orders including labs, imaging, medications, etc.
• Document procedures performed by the physician.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management.
• Cope with typical job stress and document work processes as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned, cross-trained to handle receptionist duties as needed.

Position Summary

As aMedical Scribe, you would help create a more efficient office by capturing all patient clinical information and accurately document it in the electronic medical record. By efficiently and effectively doing so, you will help improve clinical outcomes and reduce patient wait times. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details

• This is a part-time position Monday - Wednesday working in Miami (117th St) and Kendall clinics
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish
• Compensation: $21-$24/hr

Responsibilities

• This position will be cross-trained to handle receptionist duties as needed
