Job summary

ProHealth Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Scribe in Foothill Ranch, CA to document patient encounters in real time and maintain accurate electronic health records. The position is part-time, Monday through Thursday, 8:30am-3pm, with hourly pay of $24–$25.

Responsibilities include supporting clinicians, updating charts, and coordinating patient follow-ups. Requirements include Medical Assistant training or equivalent, CPR, EMR experience, and strong typing skills.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required or current CPR certification
• Some experience as a Medical Scribe or related medical documentation role
• Typing speed of 45–60 wpm required
• Spanish language ability is a plus but not required
• Customer service experience helpful in patient interactions

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits and interactions in real time
• Manage and organize electronic health records
• Assist providers in streamlining workflow and patient care
• Prepare and update patient charts before and after appointments
• Facilitate communication between patients and clinicians
• Assist with follow-up appointments and patient inquiries
• Support implementation of clinical protocols and workflows
• Locate information for review (notes, reports, test results, labs)
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.

We are seeking a dedicated medical scribe to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters and ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.

We are currently looking to hire a Medical Scribe in the city of Foothill Ranch, CA.

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $24-25 per hour

Hours: Mon-Thurs, 8:30am-3pm

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Equivalent work experience

• Ability to type 45-60 wpm

• Computer, typing, and listening skills
