Job summary

HealthChannels, LLC is seeking Medical Scribes to work alongside physicians in outpatient settings. You will document patient visits, history, exams, and treatments in real time using EHR systems. Training is provided, and roles include both full-time and part-time options to fit your schedule.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are 18+, fluent in English, and able to maintain HIPAA-compliant notes. A laptop will be provided after training; vaccination proof may be required.

  • Typing speed 40+ WPM
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

What You’ll Do

Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything. Record patient history, exams, and treatments. Use electronic health record (EHR) systems. Review and track lab and test results. Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure. Keep patient charts up to date and accurate. Send and organize documents for doctor review. Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups. Help keep the clinic running smoothly.

Schedule:

We are currently seeking both part‑time (2-3 shifts/week) and full‑time (3-4 shifts/week) team members who will work Monday - Friday from 7:00AM - 5:00PM, working in an Outpatient setting.

What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Proof of vaccinations (may be required)
  • Typing speed of 40+ WPM
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Flexible schedule availability
  • Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day
  • Access to a laptop (you’ll be provided one after training but need your own for training)
