Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking part-time and full-time Medical Scribes to work with doctors in outpatient settings. You will document patient visits in real time, record histories and exams, and manage test results using EHR systems.

Training is provided, with opportunities for professional growth and tuition assistance. Earn while you learn in a role that offers hands-on clinical exposure, mentorship, and the chance to shadow physicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Access to a laptop (you’ll be provided one after training but need your own for training).

Responsibilities

• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.

Schedule:

We are currently seeking part‑time (2-3 shifts/week) team members who will work Monday - Friday from 7:30AM - 5:00PM, working in an Outpatient setting.

Commute Radius:

This position requires you to work at several satellite locations during a scheduled week. This commute includes Monterey Park, Glendale, Arcadia, La Canada, Pasadena, El Segundo, Santa Clarita, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills, CA. Please note, business needs may shift, and flexibility is encouraged.

Compensation range: Our compensation for this position is $23.00, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
