Position Overview: We seek a compassionate Medical Scribe to support our physicians by accurately documenting patient encounters, managing medical records, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document patient encounters accurately and thoughtfully.
• Maintain and update medical records, histories, and treatment plans.
• Create referral letters, lab requisitions, and other documents.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) with compliance and excellence.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate care.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or degree preferred.
• Healthcare experience or knowledge of medical terminology, especially rheumatology, is a plus.
• Proficiency in EHR systems; experience with eClinical Works (ECW) is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Empathetic and detail-oriented personality.
