Job summary

Putnam Associates seeks a Consultant in Medical & Scientific Affairs to help lead and manage a team of Associates and Life Sciences Consultants across projects. You will work with Managers and Partners to understand client problems, craft hypotheses, and deliver actionable recommendations.

The role requires strong analytic and presentation skills, industry knowledge in pharma/biotech, and the ability to coach junior staff.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4-5 years’ work experience with other top-tier consulting firms.
Proven analytic abilities, presentation skills, and team management experience.
Team-oriented attitude is essential.
Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Relevant analytical or programming experiences in life sciences are a plus.

Responsibilities

Interact with clients to understand problems and refine hypotheses.
Break down and structure complex strategic and analytical problems.
Lead daily operations and synthesize analyses into key findings and actionable recommendations.
Prepare and deliver key findings and recommendations to clients.
Coach junior staff on project execution and management.
