Job summary

Amgen in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for obesity and related conditions. You will be the primary scientific resource to clinicians, pursuing scientific exchange and evidence generation to improve patient outcomes.

This field-based role partners with investigators and healthcare professionals, contributing to Amgen's obesity program and leading congress activities while ensuring compliant, data-driven communications.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent with strong Medical Affairs background.
• Experience in obesity/ cardiometabolic areas preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex data to clinicians and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs, and other providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy under MSL leadership.
• Engage with investigators and PHDMs to communicate data and outcomes.
• Lead congress activities and provide speaker training as needed.
• Maintain scientific acumen and compliant communications with stakeholders.
