bioMérieux in the United States is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to foster relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals across the territory. You will gather clinical insights, present scientific data, and support strategic medical initiatives to advance public health.

The role emphasizes field-based engagement, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ongoing education of clinicians and researchers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare or clinical sciences required.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical, laboratory, or healthcare fields.
• Relevant clinical experience may include patient-focused practice in areas such as infectious disease, critical care, emergency medicine, pharmacy, or other hospital/health-system settings.
• Relevant clinical laboratory experience includes roles involving clinical microbiology, diagnostic testing, laboratory medicine, or oversight/management of a hospital clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong, collaborative network of relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and key stakeholders in your territory or region.
• Cultivate partnerships with thought leaders to support the company's medical strategy and therapeutic objectives.
• Engage in ongoing scientific discussions to share relevant data and insights, fostering trust and mutual understanding between bioMérieux and the medical community.
• Present scientific information on bioMérieux products and therapeutic areas, in alignment with the company's strategic priorities.
• Deliver evidence-based presentations to healthcare professionals once trained and assessed for independence by senior team members.
• Participate in educational initiatives and share knowledge through various forums, conferences, and meetings.
• Collect and analyze insights from your territory to inform company strategies and enhance public health efforts.
• Provide detailed feedback to your MSL Lead or Senior MSL on impactful findings, ensuring alignment with medical objectives and future product development.
• Understand, interpret, and relay field insights with the goal of communicating trends and establishing strategic priorities for individual medical plans.
• Stay up to date with the latest research and scientific publications in relevant disease areas.
• Review and interpret scientific data to effectively communicate product and disease state information to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Identify and attend relevant medical and scientific conferences within your territory to network with KOLs, gather insights, and share bioMérieux's latest advancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on company goals and share insights that impact strategic direction.
• Complete necessary administrative tasks, including expense reporting, internal training, vendor credentialing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
