Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. (RRD) in North America seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison in Endocrinology to foster peer-to-peer relationships with opinion leaders and to facilitate exchange of scientific information between the medical community and the company.

The MSL will focus on Cushing’s syndrome, Cushing’s disease and Acromegaly and support Isturisa, Signifor and Signifor LAR. The role requires a mid-senior level professional with an advanced scientific degree and experience in

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree in Medical/Biological Sciences required.
• Minimum of two years in Medical Affairs/Clinical functions preferred.
• Familiarization with drug development, FDA, ICH and GCP guidelines.
• Experience with clinical trials a plus.

Responsabilités

• Deliver clinical and scientific presentations to health care professionals, including endocrinologists and P&T committee members.
• Provide scientific support at medical conferences and for up-to-date information on Cushing’s Syndrome, Cushing’s Disease and Acromegaly; support Isturisa, Signifor and Signifor LAR.
• Maintain peer-to-peer collaborations with key medical experts in relevant therapeutic areas.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests with a customized approach.
• Collaborate with physicians on medical affairs initiatives including publications and investigator-initiated trials as well as company sponsored research.
• Support clinical initiatives including site identification, registry and presentation of final approved data.
• Provide medical input into Advisory Boards and review speaker presentations with medical references.
• Train staff, including sales team, on key scientific and medical topics.
• Participate in development and review of professional slide decks, medical letters, and clinical summaries.
• Develop territory plan with input from direct line manager.
• Glean clinical field insights and inform team regularly.
• Understand the role of Medical Science Liaisons and Medical Affairs.
• Adhere to all laws, regulations, and pharmacovigilance responsibilities.
