Job summary

Recordati Rare Diseases North America is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to act as a field-based scientific expert focused on Cushing’s Syndrome, Cushing’s Disease, and Acromegaly. The MSL will facilitate unbiased information exchange between the medical community and the company and serve as a peer liaison.

The role requires clinical/medical affairs expertise to Engage with investigators, healthcare professionals, and internal teams; develop and communicate medical content; and support

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, DO, PhD, or PharmD) in Medical or Biological sciences.
• Minimum of two years of experience in Medical Affairs/Clinical functions preferred.
• Familiarization with drug development process, FDA, ICH, and GCP guidelines.
• Experience implementing, monitoring, and/or managing clinical trials for academic or pharma/biotech settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and scientific presentations to healthcare professionals, including endocrinologists and P&T committee members.
• Provide scientific support at medical conferences with up-to-date medical information on Cushing’s Syndrome, Cushing’s Disease and Acromegaly.
• Maintain peer-to-peer collaborations with key medical experts.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests.
• Collaborate on publications and investigator-initiated trials as well as company-sponsored research.
• Support clinical initiatives including site identification, registry, and data presentation.
• Provide medical input into Advisory Boards and assist with speaker presentations.
• Train staff on key scientific topics for the sales team.
• Develop and review medical slides, letters, and clinical summaries.
• Develop territory plan with input from manager.
• Gather clinical field insights and inform the team regularly.
