Job summary

Northside Hospital Rehabilitation is seeking a Scheduling Clerk to handle high-volume scheduling in a fully computerized environment. You will serve as a liaison among staff, medical staff, and physicians’ offices while applying knowledge of radiological procedures, exam sequencing, and patient preparation.

The role requires strong typing, organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with computer applications.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of Medical terminology.
• Three years of medical-related clerical experience or an associate degree.
• Strong organizational and communication/customer service skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in utilization of computer applications.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduling function in a high-volume, fully computerized environment.
• Acts as a professional liaison for staff, other hospital personnel, medical staff, and physicians' offices.
• Requires general knowledge of radiological procedures, exam preparations, exam sequencing and other related functions.
• Include typing and strong customer service and problem solving.
