Role Overview

Medical Sales Representative at Biocodex is responsible for identifying key opportunities within the Phoenix, AZ territory and driving sales of Florastor. The role includes educating healthcare professionals about the product, closing sales, and building new accounts in the gastrointestinal marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Develop the assigned sales territory with a business plan for optimal sales and customer service
• Maintain commitment to ethical promotion within regulatory guidelines
• Drive promotional activities and brand marketing
• Provide superior service and support to each customer
• Conduct virtual meetings and continuously engage with customers
• Educate on the product’s features, benefits, and technical aspects to healthcare professionals
• Make effective formal presentations to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and clinic staff using visual aids
• Close sales by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and obtaining commitment for product use
• Develop new account prospects through networking, referrals, and cold calling
• Collaborate and communicate with team members and other stakeholders
• Seek new business opportunities and maintain a high activity level (“Hunter Mentality”)
• Leverage Biocodex resources such as sales & marketing leadership, KOLs, and internal specialists

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree
• 2‑5 years of healthcare sales experience, including pharmaceuticals, long‑term care sales, OTC sales, laboratory, or medical equipment direct sales
• Demonstrated ability to consistently analyze, plan, prioritize, execute, and exceed sales goals
• Strong presentation skills (virtual and in-person)
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Experience using Salesforce CRM platform and Excel for sales data analysis
• Must reside in the Phoenix, AZ territory
• Position open to people with disabilities

Physical Requirements

• Business travel with driving/sitting in car for extended periods
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently; frequent talking, listening, visual acuity and repetitive motion
