Job summary

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking a Project Engineer-Medical Safety to join our Electrical team in Duluth, Georgia. This role involves independent testing, evaluation, report writing, and client communication for medical device safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years in related fields, with experience in IEC/UL/CSA standards. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in a related field.
• Experience with IEC/UL/CSA safety certification standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and determine applicability of national codes and standards for the EUT.
• Perform testing of products per standards (rating, leakage, dielectric, etc.).
• Mentor junior personnel and provide quotes info for projects.
• Set up and operate standard test equipment and build/calibrate fixtures.
• Communicate project status and test results to clients and management.
• Travel up to 15% as needed.
