Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in San Bernardino, CA. The role is full-time with a $20.00/hr wage, Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Training provided and a company vehicle are included to transport lab specimens, records and supplies across routes.

You will operate a handheld scanner, observe schedules, present a professional image, and ensure safe driving. Strong customer service and a valid license with 3 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old with an active driver's license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk long distances.
• Familiarity with technology and following procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials in a company vehicle.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Follow operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Route duties may vary and shift duties span multiple routes as assigned.
• Demonstrate teamwork and contribute to a collaborative MedSpeed culture.
