Job summary

ICON San Antonio is seeking a Medical Research Representative/Dietary Aid for Sunday to Wednesday nights (7 PM–7 AM) on-site in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on supporting clinical site operations, transporting samples, tracking meals, and maintaining an organized environment to ensure quality and compliance.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior/current experience in food service, healthcare, or structured environment preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written instructions and adhere to structured processes.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (general computer literacy).
• Ability to learn and navigate electronic systems, logs, and templates.
• Willingness to learn clinical study protocols, and patient timelines (meal timing, fasting requirements).
• Ability to support clinical floor operations (transporting samples, tracking meals).
• Flexibility for early morning shifts / reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for clinical research deliverables, applying skills to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Support day-to-day clinical site and facility operations to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient environment.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with research site personnel, investigators, and internal teams.
• Serve as a point of contact for routine site inquiries, providing timely support and escalating issues as needed.
• Assist with study-related and operational activities, including transporting samples, tracking meals, preparing rooms, and supporting site needs.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of workspaces, common areas, restrooms, and break rooms in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor and replenish supplies, dispose of waste appropriately, and report maintenance or facility concerns.
• Support site visits, meetings, and special events through setup, cleanup, and logistical coordination.
• Assist with tracking activities, maintaining records, and following established procedures to support quality, compliance, and efficient operations.

What You Will Do
