NYC Health + Hospitals seeks a librarian/research assistant to perform research, gather source material, prepare

Responsibilities

Performs research by collecting information and data of current and historical nature for use in the preparation of booklets, pamphlets, articles, reports and speeches.
Obtains pertinent source material by means of library research, examination of records, books or other publications and personal interviews.
Prepares written reports.
Maintains clipping file and card index of factual and statistical information for departmental use.
Handles telephone and correspondence requests for information requiring research.
May also be in charge of a small departmental library.
Performs administrative duties required to assure efficient library service.
In the Department of Rent and Housing Maintenance conducts rental value studies of moderate complexity, and assists in research studies and surveys.
