Job summary

University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Research Analyst in the Research Department of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. The role supports funded and unfunded projects, designs studies, analyzes data, and drafts scholarly outputs. Mentoring medical trainees is included in duties.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in a social science field and 2–4 years of related experience; a Master’s/Doctoral degree is preferred with 3–5 years in a Social Science setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field and 2–4 years of related experience.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred with 3–5 years in a social science setting.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements studies; collects, cleans, and analyzes data.
• Prepares IRB protocols and manages survey tools.
• Develops and validates survey instruments; drafts manuscripts, abstracts, reports, posters, and web content.
• Maintains research databases, data dictionaries, and analytic dashboards.
