Job summary

Altor Lifesciences is seeking a proactive Sales professional to promote pharmaceutical products in the assigned territory. You will engage healthcare professionals, provide scientific information, and persuade doctors to prescribe our medicines.

The role emphasizes achieving sales targets and building professional relationships. The position requires relocating to the headquarters if needed and extensive travel within the territory, with freshers possible for Trainee MR.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Science/Biology background preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical sales experience (Freshers may be considered for Trainee MR).

Responsibilities

  • Promote Altor Life Sciences' products to healthcare professionals by providing scientific information and highlighting patient benefits.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as per Company requirements.
  • Prepare and submit monthly Tour Plans for ASM approval.
  • Maintain an average of doctor calls and chemist calls per day.
  • Submit Daily Call Reports (DCR) and Pharmacy data via the sales app.
  • Ensure timely submission of POBs.
  • Expand customer base through company-approved strategies.
  • Develop doctor tie-ups to support focused brands.
  • Check stock levels with retailers and stockists.

Objective
  • To effectively promote and sell Altor Life Sciences pharmaceutical products in the Ortho, Derma, and General ranges to healthcare professionals and chemists, achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.
Sales and Promotion
  • Promote Altor Life Sciences' products to healthcare professionals by providing
  • scientific information and highlighting patient benefits to persuade doctors to prescribe our medicines.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as per Company requirements.
Territory Management
  • Prepare and submit monthly Tour Plans (TP) for approval by the ASM.
  • Submit day-wise plans and adhere strictly to approved monthly tour plans.
  • Maintain an average of 10 doctor calls and 7 chemist calls per day with the required
  • specialty focus, as per Company requirements.
  • Submit Daily Call Reports (DCR) and Retail Chemist Prescription Audit (RCPA) via the sales app promptly from call locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of POBs.
Business Growth
  • Implement Company-approved strategies to expand the customer base and improve sales achievement month after month
  • Ensure daily doctor conversions to Company products and establish doctor tie-ups to
  • support the Companys focused brands
  • Implement strategies and campaigns, including facilitating medical conferences, DGM, RTC, and CMEs, to drive business growth.
Stock Analysis
  • Regularly check with retail chemists to ensure the availability of Company products.
  • Meet stockists frequently to verify adequate stock levels of Company products.
Competitor Analysis
  • Conduct regular surveys and RCPA of competitors' products, prices, and promotional schemes.
  • Report findings and processes to the ASM on a daily basis.
Policies and Procedures
  • Adhere to all Company policies.
  • Maintain professional behavior and ethical standards at all times.
Education
  • Bachelors degree (required).
  • Science/ Biology background (preferred).
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical sales experience (preferred).
  • Freshers may be considered for the Trainee Medical Representative position.

  • Effective promotion and selling of pharmaceutical products.
